KitGrid — Bundle Builder · Last updated June 26, 2026
KitGrid — Bundle Builder (“KitGrid”, “we”, “us”) is a Shopify app that lets merchants build product bundle “kits” and publish them as native Shopify bundle products. This policy explains what data the app accesses, why, and how it is handled.
Information we access
- Store & session data: your store’s myshopify.com domain and the OAuth access token Shopify issues on install, stored securely so the app can call the Shopify Admin API on your behalf.
- Product & inventory data: products, variants, options, and inventory levels (scope
read_products) — read live to populate the kit builder. We create and update bundle products you publish (scopewrite_products). - Kit configuration you create: the kits you build (name, type, price, discount, and the variant slots you map) are stored so they persist between sessions.
KitGrid does not request or store customer personal data, payment information, or order contents.
How we use it
Data is used solely to operate the app’s features for your store — listing your catalog in the builder and creating the native bundle products you publish. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Data retention & deletion
When you uninstall the app, its session for your store is removed and it can no longer access your data. We honor Shopify’s mandatory compliance webhooks — customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact — and delete stored shop data on a shop/redact request. You may also request deletion at any time by emailing us.
Subprocessors
The app runs on Vercel (hosting) and uses a managed PostgreSQL database to store sessions and kit configuration. These providers process data only to host and operate the app.
